There are two types of security tracker:

- Anti-Theft Security Trackers - Will alert you the moment your vehicle moves. They are usually powered by an internal battery making their installation very simple and can be hidden in your car, caravan, motorhome, boat or any other vehicle. These type of trackers will send a text alert to your mobile phone with a google map location so you can track its movement. They generally have no ongoing subscription fees other than a pay as you go mobile SIM card. You can also call the tracker and it will text you back its location. You then simply click on the google map link and it will show you where your vehicle is.

- Live Real Time Security Trackers - Also referred to as telematics trackers, enable you to view your vehicles moving around and give you the history of where they have been. You track their movements in real time on your mobile phone, tablet or PC and if you have multiple trackers in multiple vehicles you can view them all on a single screen.
